• Manages activities and the achievement of sales and customer service goals for the store or a major product or operational category within the store
• Creates scheduling for store associates and collaborates with manager to execute store plans and priorities
• Troubleshoots and resolves routine operational issues independently and collaborates with manger on more complex issues
• Forecasts, budgets, and plans for area of responsibility to ensure the store meets business goals
• Manages and approves merchandise processing and procedures
• Performs hiring, disciplinary, training, performance management, employee relations and termination activities in collaboration with manager; participates in Human Resources investigations as required
• Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and store conception business plans.

• Demonstrates commitment to the organization by maintaining regular, on site attendance, is reliable and follows through with responsibilities
• Assists in implementing store concept vision for customer service goals
• Provides customer service and technical guidance to store associates and customers in complex situations using store guidelines and creative problem solving skills
• Has expertise in the products sold in the store and online
• Leverages knowledge of customer shopping trends to promote sales in the store and identify new product offerings
• Manages implementation of merchandising plans in multiple areas of the store
• Assists with adapting store plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
• Effectively executes activities across store operations
• Manages employees in multiple areas of responsibility including logistics, inventory control, scheduling, merchandise processing and/or stockroom and sales floor organization
• Accountable for store activities as assigned by Store Manager and achievement of store sales goals
• Has responsibility and authority for hiring, disciplinary actions, terminations and compensation decisions
Other Role Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 6-7 years of retail experience desired, including management experience in operational and customer-facing roles
• Accepts accountability to follow all safety and security procedures for self and others
• Immediately reports unsafe conditions (AND RESOLVES)
• Minimal travel requirements
• Effective Communication
• Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business fluctuations.
