The role of the Manager, Brand Media is to lead the day to day relationship with the Media Agency of Record and oversee the development and execution of the media plan and buy.


  • Day-to-Day. Lead the day-to-day functions with Media AOR
    • Briefs. Development of holistic media planning brief and supporting briefs based on tests/national LTO's/special programs/etc.
    • Recommendations. Lead agency in the development of final media plan recommendations
    • Rubrics. Establish media selection criteria, analyses, and KPI objectives alignment
    • Guidelines. Development of national and system media guidelines
    • Allocations/Authorizations. Manage investment allocations by channel and media buying authorizations
    • National Media Rate. Facilitate National Media Rate communication to all Franchisees
    • Reporting. Stewardship and reporting of media buys, especially weekly reach tracking
    • Digital Investments. Lead management and stewardship of all national digital investments, including ongoing analysis and insights toward optimization of campaigns
    • Status. Management of weekly status meetings, including bridging workstreams across agencies (e.g. Moxie, Fallon, Edelman)
  • Accrual Rates. Develop media accrual rates using the current rate model resources and management of system rate communications
  • Processing. Lead media invoice processing system and budget forecasting with finance teams
  • Capabilities Development. Lead agency in development of industry and system POVs, research initiatives and test proposals.
  • Partner Management. Manage day-to-day relationship and meeting facilitation with media vendors
  • Audit. Manage 3rd party audit of national media process, including coordination of required documents from AOR, timely processing of data and reporting
  • Team Support. Support VP and Senior Director, Brand Media as needed


  • Minimum education requirement of Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing/Advertising
  • Preferred education requirement of MBA


  • Required Minimum 7-10 years in media planning; experience in national and local broadcast, digital media, OOH, FSI print and sponsorship required
  • Agency management and team management required
  • Preferred buying experience as well as planning; experience with media research partners and resources


  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
