Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk and market risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

The Corporate Credit & Market Risk group is responsible for independently overseeing the management of credit risk exposures (including monitoring and reporting on aggregate credit exposures across groups, legal entities, geographies, and jurisdictions) and the quality of credit risk management practices across the company. This oversight extends to all phases of a loan’s life cycle, including origination, underwriting, risk analysis, approval, documentation, boarding, monitoring, loss recognition, modification, and collection activities. Corporate Credit & Market Risk is responsible for delegating and/or removing credit and investment approval authorities to the lines of business. More specifically, Corporate Credit & Market Risk develops, maintains and ensures adherence to enterprise wide credit risk frameworks, policies, and procedures that are aligned with Board-approved risk appetite.

The Market and Counterparty Risk Management (MCRM) group is housed within the Corporate Credit & Market Risk organization. The group is responsible for the companywide oversight of market and counterparty credit risk and ensuring that an appropriate Risk Management framework exists for the primary trading and lending desks along with products that they offer. These tasks include the identification, measurement and aggregation, approval, pricing and reporting of counterparty credit risk.

MCRM is seeking an outstanding Data Integrity Analyst (Market Risk Consultant) for the Data Integrity

Team which is responsible for ensuring that the Market and Counterparty Credit Risk data is accurate, valid, received timely and fit for purpose. These goals are accomplished by the implementation of strong data controls and documentation of processes and governance standards to ensure transparency and accountability across the data life cycle. The ideal candidate will have a broad skillset with data integrity and technology background (SQL, SSIS, VBA, etc.).

Additional responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Complex analysis of large datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and issues.
  • Analyzing complex SQL Stored Procedures to understand processes, data lineage, etc.
  • Automating processes and reporting by creating complex SQL statements
  • Creating reporting using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) across multiple platforms (access, excel etc.).
  • Partnering with other risk domains, lines of businesses and Technology to understand issues impacting the data and reconciliations
  • Business requirements documentation and partnering with technology on implementation

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: trading, desk analyst, or capital markets

  • Knowledge and understanding of banking financial services operations
