MDM Developer - Architect - Eden Prairie, MN

In this role as a MDM Lead Developer/Architect you will be responsible for working with Reltio Architect, Business Analysts, QA Analysts and others, including resources from third-party consultants to further the enterprise MDM group at the Optum Growth Office. This person will also be consulted on estimates and in operational support escalations for tasks of medium complexity.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analysis, design, development and delivery of enterprise-wide Master Data Management solutions

  • Utilize technical and domain knowledge to develop and implement effective software solutions; provide hands on mentoring to team members through all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile practices

  • Provide timely and accurate estimates for newly proposed functionality enhancements; review other team members’ estimates for completeness and accuracy

  • Articulate and present different point of views on various technologies

  • Assist in development of methodology, libraries, and templates

  • Present Architecture deliverables such as Ecosystem and Integration diagrams, ERD, Business Process Flows, Swimlanes, Visios and Mockups

  • Exhibit strong executive presence and ability to interact with key project sponsors

  • Lead technical consultants and developers on a project basis

  • Drive operational excellence across the MDM platform

  • Experience in MDM platform including expertise with MDM data models, matching rules, trust frameworks, complex hierarchy relationship management and data governance

 

 


Required Qualifications:  

  • 5+ year’s enterprise level experience as a Solution Architect and/or Senior Business Consultant delivering moderate to complex solutions

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead business discussions with customers and architect the solution and the best practices to implement it

  • Technology experience in the following:

    • MDM solutions, CRM, healthcare services systems

    • Knowledge of Web Services, XML, SOAP, REST, integration middleware such as Mulesoft

    • Object Oriented software application design and development - Java,.Net, C#, Open Source

    • Working knowledge of: HTML, JavaScript, PHP, APEX Triggers, JSP/ASP.NET

    • Experience with relational databases DB2, Oracle, SQL Server or others; data warehouses, UML

  • Experience with:

    • Gap Analysis, Blue Print Development, Data analysis, large scale system implementation, integration, interfaces, reports and data conversion

    • Delivering end to end solutions through the entire SDLC - running client facing workshops, requirements gathering, use case documentation, design, build, test, deployment, UAT and handover

    • Experience in data quality tools, including data profiling, cleansing and identity resolution

    • Experience with hybrid (cloud/on premises) integration architecture patterns

    • Must be able to work in Eden Prairie office as relocation will not be offered

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master of Science in Computer Science

  • Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills at the business and technical level, able to collaborate as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer results in a rapid paced implementation environment

  • Experience working with teams in an Agile development environment and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
