Medical Warehouse Assistant - Homecare Dimensions - San Antonio, TX

  Primary Responsibilities:
  • Cleans and organizes warehouse IAW local policy and regulatory guidelines
  • Insures warehouse area is in an orderly fashion at all times
  • Maintains "clean" and "dirty" equipment in warehouse
  • Maintains processes that insure accurate and efficient receipt, cleaning, and storage of HME equipment
  • Insures dirty equipment area stays under control and is in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Cleans dirty equipment IAW regulatory guidelines
  • Receives and verifies all incoming freight, distributes, and notifies appropriate parties of incoming freight
  • Maintains equipment files
  • Maintains privacy and confidentiality with regard to all patient, staff and Agency information
  • Promotes the Agency image by adhering to the Dress Code
  • Follows the appropriate chain of command in all forms of communication
  • Demonstrates flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to cooperate while working with others or in place of others as necessary
  • Personal responsibility with regard to attendance and punctuality

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to attend all required in-service programs to maintain comprehensive home care knowledge base
  • Ability to lift and transfer home medical equipment from one location to another up to 50lbs
  PREFERRED QUALIFICTIONS:  
  • 1+ year of  Home Medical Equipment experience
  • Medical Terminology knowledge
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/stressful environment
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to expresses verbal and written communication in a clear, positive, and cooperative manner
