Using established standards and procedures, the OHT III performs a combination of responsibilities in Employee Health. These responsibilities include performance of venipuncture, vital signs, urine drug screens, PPD readings, Spirometry, wellness program education and promotion, office assistance with answering phones and scheduling appointments, filing and scanning, documentation, CLIA waived lab testing and other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or experience. One year of Occupational/Employee Health or related experience required. 5 years Occupational Health experience preferred. Venipuncture experience and CPR certification. Experience with drug screening, vital signs and PPD reading. Working knowledge of EMR systems. Breath Alcohol Testing certification. Experience with Spirometry preferred. Experience With CLIA waived Strep test, flu test, urinalysis testing and glucometer preferred.
