Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We focus on three key risk areas: credit risk, operational risk, and market risk. EIS is part of Wells Fargo's Corporate Risk organization and is led by the Chief Information Security Officer.

This Operational Risk Consultant 4 (ORC4) - Data Loss Prevention & Compromised Data Incident Consultant will partner with Wholesale Banking & Wealth and Investment Management LOB contacts, Compromised Data, Data Loss Prevention, Human Resources, Corporate Security, Internal Investigations, and Legal to mitigate the risk of compromised data incidents and data loss prevention events, and ensure Compromised Data Incidents and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) events are being managed and remediated in compliance with WF policies. The ORC4 will also support the growth and expansion of these programs across Wholesale Banking.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage compromised data incidents and data loss prevention events across many diverse Wholesale and WIM Lines of Business and provide risk management expertise and consulting
  • Serve as the key liaison between Information Security, Wholesale & WIM LOBs, Corporate Security, HR, Legal, Enterprise Compromised Data, and DLP
  • Partner with the Compromised Data and DLP to develop, pilot, and rollout changes and/or new components to programs and tool
  • Identify training opportunities; design/coordinate the development of training materials; deliver training or coordinate training delivery
  • Manage and/or coordinate production of periodic Information Security reports
  • Conduct trend analysis and recommend risk mitigation strategies

**Open to any Wells Fargo major hub locations including telecommute/remote. **

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both

  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Other Desired Qualifications
  • Comfortable working with various levels of management and compliance representatives across Wholesale Banking or Wealth and Investment Management
  • Experience with Compromised Data program and/or the Data Loss Prevention program
  • Proactive and able to take responsibility for ensuring tasks are performed timely, efficiently, and accurately
