Competently performs Nuclear Medicine Imaging procedures on inpatients and outpatients while working as a team with the staff of the Nuclear Medicine section.
Responsible for performing all radionuclide procedures, isotope preparations, including preparation of kits.
Performs all quality control in an independent manner.
Under the direction of a physician, administers radionuclides, including venipuncture for the administration of isotopes.
Positions and transfers patients properly and assures patient safety at all times.
Complies with all Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures, including HIPAA.
Maintains a professional, courteous, and ethical demeanor at all times in workplace.
Demonstrates the ability to work with others toward a shared purpose or goal by collaborating, partnering, or cooperating with others.
Completion of formal AMA school of Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent experience.
Current ARRT Licensure or CNMT Licensure.
Maintains appropriate CE credits as per the ARRT or CNMT.
Current AHA CPR for HealthCare Provider required.
Competent in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine/PET.
Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
Minimum of three years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine/PET.
