Primary Responsibilities:
Access the County of San Diego’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) System to conduct data entry of confidential client / patient informationServe as a central contact for inpatient, crisis stabilization unit and crisis house bed availabilityProcess and track inpatient authorization requests within the establish turnaround timeDistribute appropriate clinical work products to clinicians for processingManage ongoing updates in Find Resource, the designated database for referralsScheduler:  generate, disseminate IEX schedules and update internal schedule matrixRecord non - routine disclosures in the designated databaseDownload and disseminate monthly satisfaction survey results to leadership teamPerform other routine clerical tasks : scan, facsimile, photocopy, file and/or purge documentsEfficiently answer incoming calls and provide courteous service to all customersOperate a variety of standard office machines and computer softwareEffectively respond to verbal requests and written instructions in a timely mannerEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with co - workers, supervisors, managerAssistance to ACL clinicians as needed with overall direction from ACL Afterhours SupervisorOther duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • 2+ years of data experience in Administrative or Clerical Support role
  • Ability to create, edit, save, send documents utilizing Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to type 50- 60 WPM, accurately
  • Ability to gain and maintain access to the County of San Diego's Electronic Health Record
  • Ability to work 32 hours per week during the following hours: Mondays 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM, and Tuesdays-Fridays 4:30 PM to 11 PM
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher)
  • Experience working within the Healthcare Industry or Healthcare Insurance
  • Experience working in a Hospital, Physician's Office or Medical Clinical setting
  • Experience working in a Call Center environment
Soft Skills:
  • Experience handling confidential client/patient information
  • Must be able to navigate a PC to open multiple applications, send emails, and conduct data entry
  • Ability to work with multiple screens and applications at one time
