Payroll Administrator

Default: Practice : Practice Plano Corporate Office Overview

The Payroll Administrator will assist in all aspects of processing both the bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls.  This includes the specific tasks below which will need to be completely in a timely manner to ensure payroll accuracy.


Essential Functions:

  1. Process Associate Payroll
    • Utilize ADP software to review or enter new hire information when necessary
    • Enter employee maintenance changes such as address changes, etc.
    • Work closely with practices to ensure accurate and timely paperwork
    • Utilize ADP Timesaver to enter and audit new hire information
    • Update practice location information for employees
    • Communicate user IDs/password information to the practices in a timely manner
    • Audit PTO, Holiday, and Misc. Hours when necessary
    • Run and check various audit reports
  1. Process Doctor and Hygiene Payroll
    • Utilize Doctor Compensation System to assist in processing of commission payrolls
    • Enter doctor maintenance changes are added
    • Run and distribute reports as necessary 
  1. Maintain Payroll Records
    • Update payroll reports to ensure accuracy
    • Submit tax and garnishment notices
    • Open mail and distribute as appropriate
    • Complete agency surveys
    • Research employee concerns and reply back in a timely manner.
  1. Educate team members and doctors regarding payroll processes
    • Send TimeSave Guides to new Operations Leaders and managers
    • Supply new Operations Leaders with login information to view paystubs online.
    • Send new doctors information on how to view their compensation statements
    • Update manuals and instructions when necessary 
  1. Work on general payroll tasks
    • Will cross train with payroll specialists and Sr. payroll specialists regarding certain payroll tasks
    • Provide assistance and support to additional payroll and home office staff
    • Work with other departments to research and resolve company issues
    • Special projects as assigned



  • Education/Certification:
  • High School Diploma required. Associates or Technical degree preferred
  • At least 1 year of Payroll experience preferred
  • Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office & Excel)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Demonstrate initiative
  • Positive, professional demeanor
  • Solid customer service skills
