PBM Associate Product Specialist - Telecommute

PBM Associate Product Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with Pharmacy Benefit Managers' (PBMs) that support our customer’s preferred healthcare solution. 

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performance and management of assigned PBM relationships

  • Reviews PBM performance against expectations and facilitates changes to support our customers and improve performance

  • Develops PBM training/education for internal and external audiences, collaborating with appropriate stakeholders as needed

  • Maintains strong working relationships with sales, account management, operations, pricing,  and other parties to effectively support assigned PBM relationships

  • Collaborates with UMR Operations and IT, and leads efforts for enhancements to existing relationships as well as new rollouts

  • Collaborates with PBMs to understand business impacts that may impact UMR customers or processes

  • Coordinates activities with all parts of the organization and monitors organizational change and makes appropriate modifications to PBM offerings

  • Keeps up to date on competitive and market conditions and proactively reacts to changes and opportunities in the marketplace

  • Responsible for professional development through attendance at industry events or other development activities

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or 2 years (Pharmacy Benefits Management) PBM experience

  • Requires a minimum of five years of relevant experience in the health care industry and extensive experience with assigned product lines

  • Experience building and maintaining customer relationships

  • Experience creating and performing presentations

  • Strong level of experience with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point  

  • Minimal Travel

 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience monitoring and mentoring performance

  • Experience identifying trends and making recommendations for process improvements

  • Experience working with migrations and implementations

  • Strong understanding and experience with UMR line of business

  • Experience creating training materials and facilitating the  rollout of new products

  • Experience participating and leading projects
