LOCATION: West Chester, OH - Dispensing Warehouse
Springdale, OH - Front-end Office Based positions

HOURS: Depending on the team, a variety of schedules are available (no 2nd or 3rd shift)


We have several teams who are hiring.  Depending on what team you join, as a member you will do the following:

  • Talk with existing Humana members, physician offices or pharmacies via inbound and outbound calls
  • Communicate and interact with fellow team members to meet department goals
  • Problem solving with infusion pharmacists and nurses to deliver accurate prescription information
  • Educate members on alternative medications and opportunities for cost savings
  • The Dispensing Pharmacy Technician accurately fills and counts medications.
  • Ensure patients receive their medication both timely and accurately
  • Attaching prescriptions/patient info/financial info to a patient profile and ensuring that all notated drug/allergy/health conditions are notated in patient profile.
  • is item entering the prescription info such as drug name, strength, quantity, directions, MD info


Role Essentials

Candidates for this position must have the following skills:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license in Ohio
  • Experience using multiple computer applications simultaneously and ability to multitask
  • A positive, proactive attitude, energetic, and highly motivated
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Applied knowledge of insurance processing, customer service or call center
    processes and practices
  • A positive attitude with a desire to help our members and be engaged with your team

NOTE: for a Dispensing position you must be able to stand for up to a 10 hour shift

Role Desirables

  • 6 months – 1 year of Pharmacy experience OR equivalent telephonic experience in a pharmacy call center setting
  • Mail order or retail  Pharmacy experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • IV Compounding experience
  • Experience with typing prescriptions
  • Experience with performing calculations
  • Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CphT or ExCPT)
