Phlebotomist/Computer Operator is responsible for procurement and distribution of specimens, (blood, urine, etc.). computer data entry and operation of computer equipment. Must be able to provide and understand at the bedside the specific communication, developmental and treatment needs of patients, families and visitors ranging in age from neonate-birth to geriatric.
High school graduate or equivalent. Certification from an approved phlebotomy education program and or required to pass SRHS's Phlebotomy Certification Exam or equivalent. Computer experience is highly desirable. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
