The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides direct patient care services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and understands treatment plan and procedure modifications that are specific to infancy, toddler, preschool, school age, adolescence, early adult, middle adult and late adult patients. The PTA is responsible for documentation of patient treatment, patient charges and other information as needed. The PTA may be responsible for supervision of students, volunteers and ancillary PT staff. Associates Degree in Physical Therapy
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES and/or REGISTRATIONS
- Home Health and Industrial positions require a valid SC driver's license.
