At CTS andThat!, the Planning Department is responsible for developing Pre-Season category level sales and inventory plans, by analyzing historical data and partnering with Buyers on future trends. The objective is to generate profitable sales and quick inventory turnover across multiple channels (stores and online). In-season the Planning Department is accountable for managing the Open to Buy. We evaluate the business on a weekly basis to review selling and inventory positions and partner with our cross-functional teams in Buying, Allocation and the Field ensuring objectives are being met.

As a member of the Planning team you will partner with the Buying team to develop and execute merchandise assortments and inventory management strategies that achieve sales, profit, and turnover performance objectives.
•Create department and class level financial plans by analyzing historical and current trends, re-forecast in season based on current trend
•Analyze key item trends and seasonality, adjusting forecasts, markups, receipts, and inventory levels as needed to drive business
•Identify opportunities to increase sales, margin, and turnover to meet or exceed plan
•Partner with Buyer in the development of assortment plans and SKU management Ladder plan rebuy continuity programs
•Manage warehouse inventory allocation process
•Bachelors degree desired
•Prior experience as a Merchandise Planner
•Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
•Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
