The One Kings Lane Planning team is looking for an Planner to support the Buying team in
assortment planning and analytics. The ideal candidate will possess the passion to drive business
using data and analyses, the analytical horsepower to solve a wide range and large number of
questions quickly, the flexibility to address rapidly changing priorities, strong collaboration and
communication skills and an innovative drive to improve processes, tools and methodologies. In this
role, you will help our Buying team use data to make smarter decisions about the product we have
on site and optimize our assortment for maximum top line and bottom line impact.

 Partnering with the buying team to develop insights that will inform quarterly strategic priorities
and sourcing strategy
 Create seasonal, quarterly, monthly and weekly merchandise financial plans for sales, margin
and inventory at a category level
 Recommend SKU count and flow of goods
 Monitor monthly open to buy / in-season performance against all metrics and provide
replenishment and markdown guidance to Buying team.
 Analyze historical data and current trends on a weekly basis to identify risks and opportunities
 Build assortment plans and replenishment strategies
 Partner with Retail Team to align on strategies at an Omni level

Skills and Requirements:
 5-7+ years of experience in a fast-paced, business-decision driving analytical environment
 Outstanding analytical skills, in particular Excel
 Expert command of retail math concepts
 Excellent organizational, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
 Strong ability to learn reporting/data warehousing tools quickly. Familiarity with business
reporting tools, such as Tableau or Looker, is a plus.
 Able to work collaboratively and effectively foster business relationships across teams
 Exceptionally analytical and quantitative; passionate about driving business decisions with data
and analyses
 Proactive, self-directed, strategic, and tactical

 Comfortable with ambiguity, a fast pace and changing priorities
