In support of this mission, Marketing is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies across Wells Fargo’s business lines and geographies; leading brand strategy; leveraging deep insights and analytics about consumers and businesses; executing customer messaging across all channels and touchpoints; and building out capabilities that move toward real-time, always-on, personalized and compelling messaging and digital experiences.

Be part of Wells Fargo’s increasing shift towards digital marketing including important investments in digital technologies and capabilities. As the Platform Activation Lead, you will be responsible for all aspects of the launch and activation of new marketing technologies for the owned channels (Wells Fargo digital properties and email). You will serve as the subject matter expert on the deployment and use of all new on first- and third-party digital platform tools. You will develop strategies to ensure the most effective and appropriate use of the new technology to support product, marketing, and customer needs. As the activation lead, you will champion and encourage the adoption and usage of new marketing technologies to key stakeholders. This is a cross functional role in which you will collaborate with Technology, Product, Capabilities, Marketing, Insight and Analytics partners on projects from conception to launch to ongoing operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide requirements for the owned channels for marketing projects based on input from key stakeholders to ensure deployment is consistent with needs
  • Identify current capabilities gaps and needs and provide input into the owned-channel technology roadmap vision and assist in the prioritization of projects
  • Responsible for the roll out of new digital capabilities across the owned channels including managing campaign calendar and the prioritization of opportunities across different capabilities
  • Develop best practices, governance, and strategy for campaign usage of new capabilities to ensure the integration into our channel targeting playbook and toolkit
  • Develop channel-specific use cases for new capabilities and socialize with stakeholders
  • Identify proof of concept campaigns for launch and then scaling the capability from pilot to broader channel-wide usage
  • Develop and execute a test and learn strategy for new capabilities
  • Develop analytic framework in partnership with Insights and Analytics to measure performance of new capabilities. Develop insights to identify the most effective and appropriate use of capability
  • Stand up new capabilities working with Capabilities’ Change Management team including developing business processes and procedures; securing appropriate approvals; and developing channel specific training
Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms (i.e mobile or social media)
Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Financial services experience
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Leadership skills including the ability to influence effectively in a matrix environment
Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing and executing digital marketing/advertising campaigns (e.g. owned, paid, social, search)
  • Deep understanding of marketing, measurement, and ad tech capabilities such as DMPs, tag management, targeting and testing applications
  • Data driven, analytical approach
  • Strong collaborative style with an execution and re-oriented focus
