Photo Studio Post Production Manager

General Overview: The Ecommerce Post Production Manager will oversee and manage
all post production work for CPWM. They will support the marketing and ecommerce
teams by handling, assigning, and approving all ecommerce product photography and
marketing content photography retouching. This includes, but not limited to, assigning
daily workload to retouching production team, ensuring all photographic content is
complete and accurate, organizing Dropship projects, hiring and training post production
team, and handling one-off image requests daily.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
● Partners with Studio Producer to manage due dates of both Ecomm and Content
● Assigns daily workload to Post Production team which includes daily retouching, DS
photography, and other miscellaneous post production projects
● Oversees studio resources ensuring they are up to date and credible. These resources
include updating style guide, lighting guide, webDAM, templates, background library,
and studio workflow cheat sheets
● Screens, hires, and trains new Post Production team members
● Organizes DS Vendor image projects and schedules deadlines
● Mentors post-production team, assists with photoshop techniques, file management,
● Delivers final content imagery for company’s use through all marketing channels
● Handles one-off requests including silo requests, additional retouching, photo
discrepancies, etc.
● Q/A website for product/retouching discrepancies
● Oversees DAM admin, keywording and file management
● Determines file storage rules and ensures compliance
● Determines file-naming conventions and enforces compliance
● Project owner in Workstream project management tool for post production
● Tracks image handling counts and reports quarterly to PM
Job Requirements:
· Associates, Bachelors, BFA, degree preferred
· Minimum 5+ years working in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
· Minimum 3+ years retouching, Ecommerce retouching
· 2+ years supervising a team, previous hiring experience is preferred
· Expert knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
· Strong communication and organizational skill are required
· Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time, meeting strict time-sensitive deadlines
· Experience using file transfer software preferred
· Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel & Word
· Excellent eye for detail with a high degree of accuracy
· Own means of transportation required
