Position Summary

Provide Production Art, High-speed Laser Printer Production, Bindery, Kitting, Fulfillment and Distribution of printed materials to support consumer messaging of the Perishable departments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Using design software, build templates to be used for proofing and production
  • Duplicate printed materials on high-speed Laser printers to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Operate bindery equipment based on established procedures to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Maintain hardware, Systems production and bindery in accordance with established procedures to ensure equipment and systems are operating efficiently.
  • Identify and initiate corrective action on complex errors in order-entry, design and print specifications to ensure jobs are completed in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Monitor requests submitted for data integrity, layout, scheduling and accuracy to ensure they conform within the standards set by the Marketing department.
  • Ensure all shift activities and problems are reported to the appropriate management in a timely manner.
  • Maintain all management reports completely, accurately and on time.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all requests for approval (Workamajig) according to established procedures.
  • Maintain well-stocked levels of all necessary paper stock, kitting supplies, hardware, preprinted inventory and other related items.
  • Perform fulfillment and kitting responsibilities based on established procedures.

Education and Training Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 18 months to 3 years of additional training

Experience Required

  • 1 to 3 years

Experience Desired

  • Bindery Equipment Operator with mechanical equipment break/fix experience
