Product Manager - HEDIS/STARS - MN Based

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the design, development and management of new, existing or acquisition products in Quality Services portfolio - including HEDIS, Stars and other related Quality measurement and improvement frameworks
  • Define Product Business case, vision, strategy and roadmaps
  • Gather, manage and prioritize market and customer requirements
  • Support expansion of Quality Services portfolio towards Prospective Quality Improvement opportunities and Payer/Provider incentive alignment strategies
  • Review product performance against expectations and facilitates or influences changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance
  • Work with internal or external business constituents to determine product future direction or respond to product inquiries. May be project-based and involve working within multiple product functions
  • Predict emerging customer needs and develops innovative solutions to meet them. Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
  • Participates in the development of business strategy and Develops and manages business plans to achieve objectives
  • Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches
  • Guide Product Owners in translating Market/Customer requirements into Product Requirements and shape the Product delivery and evolution

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Quality related product management or product marketing or product development experience
  • 4+ years of experience with Quality measurement frameworks - HEDIS, Stars and other
  • Strong understanding of Retrospective and Prospective Quality measurement and improvement areas
  • Strong Healthcare Quality Domain Subject matter expertise. Experience with healthcare data including Claims, Codesets, Eligibility and related domains
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives
  • Excellent teamwork skills and Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile software development approach
  • 3+ years of Experience writing User Stories, Requirements, Testing and Collaborating with Development/Engineering teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced Degree
  • Experience with Product Management frameworks - Pragmatic Marketing, 280 Group or others
  • Clinical experience
