PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

This position is responsible for collecting and reporting actionable Loss Prevention metrics directly to field leaders for follow up and action in their restaurants. This role will involve reporting oversight for the entire Restaurant Guard program through NCR, as well as, supporting additional Loss Prevention metric reporting when available. 

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide oversight to incident handling, including corresponding with Field Leaders, Talent Management and Support Center personnel
  • Review analytics reporting for behavior irregularities, which may include requesting additional information, where necessary, to validate or complete the incident investigation
  • Participate in investigations, including evidence collection and on-site investigations, as necessary
  • Lead Loss Prevention Analytics development for the North American Operations Team

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain a working relationship with internal representatives, third party vendors, and Field Leaders
  • Identify safety metrics and produce regular reports on key risk indicators
  • Participate in an analysis of the key performance indicators effectiveness
  • Participate in regular reporting to management
  • Participate in the Alert Line emergency notification rotation with an expectation of availability outside standard business hours
  • Participate in quarterly discussions with Operations leaders
  • Participate in the reporting and management of a cost allocation program
  • Perform other related duties, tasks and projects as assigned by supervisors

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Required

  • Bachelor degree in Risk Management, Insurance or related field
  • 5+ years of analytics experience
  • 3-5 years of loss prevention experience

Preferred

  • Experience working in the restaurant or retail industry

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Broad knowledge in principles and practices of Loss Prevention
  • Sound analytical skills
  • Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Awareness of and ability to meet deadlines

Freedom to Act:

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision

Size and Complexity:

  • Need to know which incidents can give significant rise against the company

Interaction:

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities
  • Works with management in order to communicate to departments
  • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost level of professionalism

  • Maintains contact with Home Office and Field Leaders to complete job assignments
