The Program Manager – Operations is the market lead responsible for collaborating with the State Director for managing and overseeing operations of a federal grant. This role is accountable for implementation and oversight of policies and procedures as they relate to the screening and navigation components of the grant. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing screening responsibilities including, but not limited to; training, managing risk prevention equipment and accessories, assisting with updating Standard Operating Procedures, and serve as the main point of contact for screeners and other clinical delivery staff. This position will require extensive face to face contact and related travel on island to engage with the project’s clinical site partners.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new concepts technologies, and products to meet emerging customer and market needs

  • Identify and work collectively to solve problems that impact the management, direction, and outcomes of the project

  • Provide recommendations and data/information to drive informed leadership decisions on project strategy and direction

  • Implement the screening and referral process in conjunction with clinical delivery site staff

  • Documentation and tracking of screening and referral services

  • Support the collection and reporting of data as required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and its contractors

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent years of work experience
  • 4+ years working in operations in Honolulu
  • 1+ year of experience working directly with low income community members
  • Knowledge of health care operations
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Currently reside on Oahu and be familiar with the local community
  • Willing and able to locally travel on Oahu, up to 75% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience including leading presentations, communication across a matrix organization or program
  • 2+ years working in health care
  • 2+ years in project management or project leadership experience
  • Passion for innovation and solving community challenges
