Responsible for the operational and technological success of LHI owned work as it relates to programs prime contracted by OptumServe and ensuring seamless team management, development, program delivery and quality control.  Develop plans and schedules for LHI owned program deliverables, measure and track performance and analyze program data in order to enhance performance, achieve targets and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.  Cultivate relationships with OptumServe program management, operational and administrative departments, other program partners and vendors for the purpose of developing and implementing strategies that will maximize the strengths and abilities among each entity to meet and exceed the goals of the program(s).


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Program Management Responsibilities (LHI Owned)
    • Coordinate program initiatives and make sure that the plans for achieving these projects run smoothly and effeciently
    • Measure process performance and operational consistency to achieve and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for LHI responsible work on OptumServe prime contracts.  Anticipate and monitor demands on services, develop plans and set goals that lead to improved effectiveness and efficiency across departments for LHI responsible work on OptumServe prime contracts
    • Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of staff throughout the organization and act as primary liaison between operational departments specifically regarding issue resolution, processes, training, education and support for OptumServe prime contracts. Also provide overall management support to ensure that all parties move together toward meeting the goals of the program(s)
    • Communicate both orally and in writing across funtions and team, up and down the chain of command via regular updates, reports and / or presentations on program(s) status
  • Customer Interaction
    • Manage all LHI responsibilities for OptumServe prime contracts, including strategic and operational planning, subject matter expertise, system and process training and work to ensure program satisfaction
    • Performs analysis of LHI - specific information, performs service reviews with OptumServe program leadership, and monitors research gathered to identify specific trends related to LHI performance
    • Meet proactively with OptumServe program leadership and other program partners to discuss plans, discuss new products, services and technology solutions; collaborate with marketing and business operations as needed
  • Customer and Internal Operations Coordination Responsibilities
    • Manage contract deliverables to include statement of work and performance standards as request by OptumServe leadership; follow - up items between internal operational departments and OptumServe; facilitate issue resolution between all parties to ensure all commitments and OptumServe expectations are met
    • Serve as the lead in working as the liaison between operational departments, the IT organization, OptumServe specific program leadership and other key stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and specifications, assist in the design and development of solutions and ensure the solutions meet the user’s and OptumServe program leadership needs
    • Ensure that services, practices and processes are based on sound business decisions, cost benefit analysis and profitability considerations to maximize program satisfaction and operations efficiency
    • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting and profit improvements for the LHI performance related requirements on OptumServe contracts


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 4+ years demonstrated experience serving in a program management and leadership capacity with a strong understanding of project management principles, information technology and operations    
  • Proven experience working with a high - performing, collaborative and constructive teams as well as managing program scope, contractual requirements and budgets  
  • Strong project and process management skills managing complex, multi - faceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth
  • Experience building and developing strong relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and supporting contract developments
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to prioritize, coordinate and delegate effectively 
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to influence and negotiate through use of verbal, written and interpersonal means with a diverse group of people / disciplines at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to implement and execute new initiatives as well as deliver results
  • Ability to understand and analyze financial results to achieve budgeted targets
  • Ability to work independently as well as provide team leadership and management in a diverse and demanding operational environment
  • Must possess the ability and flexibility to work to meet deadlines and client expectations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the activities of others as well as manage and monitor performance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional attention to details; ability to communicate and coordinate effectively to internal and external customers on all levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in a goal - oriented, fast paced environment
  • Establish rapport, credibility, trust and confidence with LHI internal departments and clients
  • Occasional travel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of all MedNet applications
  • Microsoft Visio experience
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • National Career Readiness Certificate
