AppleCare Medical Management Group was incorporated in 2003. Over the last 17 years, the multispecialty medical group of independent practices has expanded into new communities, contracted with more hospitals and health plans, and added over 50 new doctors - but the mission has remained the same.

Today, AppleCare Medical Management is comprised of hundreds of board-certified private-practice, independent physicians. Collectively, our physicians have been serving the Southeast area of Los Angeles and Northern Orange County for decades, providing their medical expertise and passion to improving the health of our communities.


Successful Clinical Programs & Care Experience Manager can lead and work collaboratively with Core Team members from various functions (Product Marketing, Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Customer Support, etc.) to improve Clinical Infrastructure under aggressive timelines. The successful candidate must have strong critical thinking skills and be able to work independently, handle multiple projects in parallel, and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.


Primary Responsibilities:
  • Identify and analyze trends, strategies and tactics to increase the productivity of clinic operations teams to drive positive performance on organizational key performance metrics and improve the customer experience

  • Manage a variety of Clinical projects and medical center wide strategic initiatives and goals

  • Ensure successful execution of project plans and track, manage and communicate progress against targets to team and stakeholders.

  • Process improvement advisor to clinical services

  • Identify, develop, and present recommendations; implement approved solutions

  • Work effectively with stakeholders to ensure project goals are aligned with business objectives.

  • Train, teach and development of education materials on rounding systems.

  • Consult on communication models and service recovery strategies

  • Participate in development and management of the clinics, including coaching, training, and conducting performance reviews

  • Track, manage and communicate project changes to team and stakeholders by developing presentations using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio

  • In order to be successful in this position, candidates must have the following key attributes:

    • Communication - must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization

    • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills; detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture and to work effectively at both high and detailed levels

    • Interpersonal and facilitation skills - proven ability to effectively build relationships and achieve consensus across a wide range of functions and constituents


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in full life cycle project management including project ROI assessment, project team management and change control management, or healthcare operations experience

  • Successful track record of improving end-to-end process and operational improvement

  • Intermediate proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or CAPM certification

  • Experience with process mapping methodology and creating process maps.

  • Minimum 5-7 years of functional operational experience within the healthcare industries.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or a related field

  • 3 or more years of Project Management within Clinical Services

  • Business Knowledge - sound grasp of the key operational business drivers and considerations in the Healthcare / Local Care Delivery

  • Strong experience with continuous improvement
