Primary Responsibilities

  • Help manage provider data and maintain and improve databases
  • Business requirements ownership, maintenance and translation to IT scrum team for production deployment
  • Lead implementation of new technology development in line with the Agile methodology
  • Lead issue remediation and corrective activities to clean database and minimize claims and other downstream impacts
  • Support approval and review of user accepting testing strategy and results
  • Monitor automated contract loading, errors, metrics and reporting
  • Document and communicate status and metrics to leadership
  • Report and extract data for various reports and analyses
  • Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues
  • Help develop/maintain standards for database integrity and quality assurance

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in the healthcare or health insurance experience
  • 3+ years provider demographics, provider contracting, provider data and/or provider pricing experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in tracking, trending and reporting on metrics
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time for meetings and training

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Access
  • Agile lifecycle/methodology
  • Large-scale platform implementation or migration experience
  • Managing cross-functional projects and making presentations
  • Ability to interact effectively with other areas of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality standards and meeting assigned deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational abilities are essential
  • Ability to work effectively with minor supervision
  • Ability to clearly articulate (both verbal and written) project status and issues management
