The Provider Marketing Consultant is responsible for the development and execution of a strategic plan that supports the growth goals of the organization. The primary focus of this position is to develop and execute marketing strategies for growth and retention. The position is also responsible for providing assistance with special projects and educational efforts as directed by management. This position is accountable for market membership goals for growth, retention and improved brand awareness.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute marketing activities to support growth and retention goals; gather market intelligence to facilitate marketing strategies and innovate new solutions
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to create an action plan for market growth activities and community outreach
  • Represent the department in marketing and physician meetings; provide support to the clinics for events, training, and collaterals and other duties as assigned
  • Maintain strategic plans/event plans/action plans and communicates reporting to the Marketing Manager / leadership
  • Oversee all necessary reports and deliverables as requested by leadership according to established deadline
  • Monitor lead/enrollment tracking system
  • Maintain a professional relationship with community contacts/agencies, healthcare delivery system administration, physicians and other staff as well as local contracted health plan staff
  • Conduct presentations and represent WellMed at business development organizations to foster relationships with various community and business partners
  • Attend meetings of relevant community groups, interacting and building links with WellMed’s current support base of communities and community organizations
  • Participate actively in staff and operational development meetings and training sessions
  • Assesses campaign strategy, scope and requirements; develops an appropriate budget and timeline for successful project delivery; responsible for adhering to budget, expense management and tracking the ROI of each project
  • Develop strategies for programs and executes operating decisions that engage program participation from lower income, minority, and seniors in the community
  • Collaborate with marketing team on appropriate collaterals for various events and coordinate with internal teams to ensure marketing materials and proprietary merchandise is created and distributed effectively
  • Liaise with corporate and market representatives on marketing collaterals needed for special events, advertisement initiatives and other requests submitted by senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors as needed to fulfill program initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between brand-building, positioning and direct-response objectives
  • Support marketing and advertising schedules, maintains and meets deadlines and budgetary requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of marketing experience with a focus on event planning, lead generation, consumer branding, and/or product marketing; 5+ years of marketing experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years of experience with strategic marketing - documented action planning and plan execution
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Access to reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 50% within greater Dallas-Fort Worth area
  • Flexibility to working outside regular business hours (evenings/weekends) as needs require
  • Proven experience meeting sales promotion and/or marketing targets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English / Spanish
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CMS tool
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proofreading and editing experience, with a high attention to detail
  • Experience in health care, ideally working directly with health care providers
  • Experience working with older adult demographic
  • Proven communications and interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers
