Quality Specialist - LHI - LaCrosse, WI

Design, develop, implement and maintain assigned Quality Management Systems modules to include: Audit Management, Corrective Action, Document Control, Data Analysis or Customer Resolution. Continuously monitor / audit internal controls of key business processes, tier supporting applications and infrastructure to measure effectiveness and mitigate risk issues. Initiate and track corrective action to resolve any noncompliance. Collect and summarize audit findings of business processes and communicate control violations / emerging risk to enable the organization to quickly identify and resolve the concern.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain the assigned combination of major quality management system modules which may include Audit Management, Corrective Action, Document Control, Change Control, Data Analysis or Customer Resolution
  • Lead teams and / or perform audits of corporate processes and communicate results to all stakeholders
  • Identify correction of issues, assist process owners in the development and execution of solutions and continuous improvements, and follow - up to ensure commitments are completed and effective
  • Use and mentor others in the use of Continuous Improvement skills and tools
  • Perform complex data analysis in support of ad - hoc and standing customer requests
  • Assist with quality plans, and document development, process / program analysis and development, and workflow enhancements to meet overall business objectives
  • Create trend analysis and action reports, and as necessary escalate to leadership
  • Work with process owners to identify, develop and implement control improvement opportunities and create and maintain key process documentation
  • Serve as process change control task leader
  • Maintain documentation of proposed and implemented SharePoint solutions
  • Perform related quality and continuous improvement duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering Science or related field of study
  • 3+ years quality audit, quality assurance or work in continuous improvement
  • Experience communication with internal and external customers via phone, email, written documentation and group facilitation
  • Experience creating and presenting audit results and facilitating resolution of differing opinions
  • Experience organizing and prioritizing tasks to ensure established goals and deadlines are met
  • Experience analyzing and working with data to ensure accuracy

Preferred:

  • Professional certification through American Society of Quality
  • Formal training in Lean and Six Sigma fundamentals
  • Experience collaborating with all levels of staff to reach goals
  • Database experience
  • Understanding of statistical analysis tools
