In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors; the Radiation Therapist performs a variety of diagnostic procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.

Responsibilities   

  • Responsible for the simulation, the management and treatment of Radiation Oncology patients; applying ionizing radiation as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.

  • Ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Radiation Oncology program
  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (AART), or registry eligible. Valid State Of Ohio Radiological License required.
