Under the direction of a qualified physician and the Imaging Services Manager or designate, this position incorporates all the duties of a staff radiologic technologist.Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Completion of formal Radiologic Technologist training at an AMA approved school.
Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
Must be ARRT Registered or Registry Eligible.
Maintains appropriate CE credits as per the ARRT.
Current CPR for HealthCare Provider required.
Addendum: Radiology students may be hired as Assistant Radiologic Technologists if they are no more than 90 days from graduation from an accredited two year school of Radiology. They must also provide documentation that all competencies have been completed during their clinical training period. The student may not perform any procedures without direct supervision by an accredited radiologic technologist. The student may assist the registered technologist, but may at no time act independently of a registered radiologic technologist
