General Overview:

Cost Plus World Market is seeking a Recruiting Partner to join our Human Resources team.  The Recruiting Partner is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process of non-exempt and exempt positions at the corporate office.  This position drives the staffing reporting process and may be asked to deliver other metrics from time to time as well as ad hoc projects as assigned.  This position requires a strong sense of and desire to work as a member of a team as it routinely interfaces with all levels of the organization and works in strong partnership with the HR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistent high-quality work in a fast- paced, dynamic environment by managing time and effort across hiring: sourcing strategies, timelines and deliverables
  • Partner and influence cross-functional stakeholders within the recruiting process 
  • Work with hiring managers to document requirements of job openings as required for existing and new requisitions
  • Manage and monitor hiring process from phone screen to offer
  • Drive the interview process and debriefs with interviewers and hiring managers
  • Implement and execute recruiting programs and strategies to fill current openings and build an on-going, healthy pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Research and gain in depth understanding of corporate departments and developing hiring strategies for these areas
  • Identify, track and report on relevant recruitment metrics and continually evaluate results to assess effectiveness while identifying wins and opportunities
  • Participate in the development of recruiting collateral for the office and field
  • May participate in additional recruiting events such as job fairs and on-campus recruiting

Position Requirements:

  • BS or BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration preferred
  • 3+ years experience in recruiting, hiring for both non-exempt and exempt positions
  • Demonstrated ability to provide research and analysis on recruiting, hiring practices and trends
  • Previous experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods
  • Understanding of employment law including EEO requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently
  • Desire and ability to function as a member of a team
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
