The Revenue Cycle Coordinator is responsible for accurate, timely and complete documentation regarding patient demographics, insurance verifications, billing and collections. Estimates patient's financial responsibility and makes financial arrangements with guarantor/patient. Posts payments and follows up with claims. Collects and correlates processes according to Joint Commission, Federal and State Regulations and Oceans' mission, policies and procedures and PI standards.
Must be able to read and to write. High school diploma preferred. Must have extensive experience with data entry, clerical, finance and accounting abilities. Prefer at least 3 years experience in related field with knowledge and understanding of Commercial Insurance and Medicare.

Must be versatile, flexible and able to perform in stressful situations. Must have good time management and organizational skills. Must be able to work with an array of mentally/physically disabled persons in an age/disability, culturally sensitive manner. Must have excellent assertive communication skills, knowledge and in-depth understanding of chemical dependency/psychiatric treatment. Must be able to organize and prioritize high volume workloads. Interacts well with the general public in a stress-oriented position. Must analyze and utilize data and systems to provide individualized quality treatment in a cost effective manner. Must be able to function with minimal supervision and complete understanding and respect for patient confidentiality.
CPI and CPR certified.
