Revenue Cycle Management Executive Solution Architect - US Telecommute

We have an opportunity for an Executive Solution Architect to support the growth of Optum 360 (O360) Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions/services.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for being a Solution Architect and subject matter expert for O360 RCM solutions/services that are presented to new and / or existing clients in the Provider market
  • Responsible for supporting the O360 annual growth h quota to expand and ensure delivery of Optum's RCM solutions nationally
  • Work across matrix teams to help qualify and manage complex solutions spanning Optum’s RCM portfolio
  • Possess or develop subject matter expertise and knowledge on Optum RCM solutions / products / services designed to engage consumers, modernize infrastructure and advance care across the health care industry, inclusive of individual, market and or enterprise solutions
  • Participate in, and at times own / lead, sales process and client engagement through the sale, coordinating with all necessary parties (ex. legal, pricing, finance, etc.) to close a sale
  • Engage, build relationships and position/sell RCM solutions / services across a variety of client and net new prospects
  • Cultivate and deepen C-suite and/or complex client relationships
  • Develop consultative relationships and be a trusted advisor to the client to demonstrate how Optum can provide value for the client to meet their objectives and improve the health system
  • Ability to work independently as a strong team player with minimal supervision in a high paced, high intensity environment
  • Communicate and present effectively at multiple audiences and levels (listening, written and verbal communication) 

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related area or equivalent work experience required
  • 10 years’ experience in provider healthcare revenue cycle services/solution sales or consulting
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding annual Sales Target - or demonstrated experience in RCM consulting
  • Strong experience of consultative selling  at the C-Suite Level Provider Solutions/Services - either direct sales or consulting
  • Ability to travel extensively – minimum of 75% travel
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively and independently in a flexible, unstructured high intensity, fast paced geographically diverse environment
  • Demonstrated experience & ability to work effectively with matrix teams and other individuals at varying levels of the organization with a demonstrated ability to create, build, and maintain relationships
  • Superior communication skills - listening, written, and verbal communication  with experience presenting to C-Suite
  • Strong strategic thinking and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated time-management and execution skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task and to deliver results within short timeframes

  • HFMA Certification
