Our gift shop in Lurie Children's Hospital in downtown Chicago is steps from the red line and bus stop! Work up to 30 hours per week! Open availability is a must!
WHAT YOU WILL DO (Responsibilities):
As a sales associate, you will use your unique talents and passion for helping others to provide an exceptional experience to all of our guests. You will work closely with your manager to increase sales and maintain merchandising standards as well as:
Greet customers, uncover their needs, and recommend products
Thrive on building genuine relationships with our guests and earning their loyalty
Ensure inventory levels are maintained on sales floor and in stock room
Market merchandise by adhering to advertising procedures, sales promotions, and display plans
Execute daily operational tasks with efficiency, diligence, and integrity
Adhere to Lori’s Gifts policies and procedures
Handle cash and credit card transactions utilizing the POS system

WE ARE LOOKING FOR (Requirements):
High School diploma or GED required; College degree preferred
One year of work experience- retail, restaurant, boutique, jewelry, and accessory experience is a plus!
Ability to communicate clearly
Willingness to work flexible hours to include evening, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and capable to stand for long periods of time
