Provide sales support to Special Markets team (director and 3 account managers) and eighty-six third-party commission sales representatives through database management, mailing prep and execution, order tracking and review, and presentation generation


• Coordinate and attend bi-annual Trade gift shows (8-10 shows 2x per year)
• Prepare, monitor, and distribute bi-annual special sales catalog with assistance from Marketing and Design
• Format and distribute monthly commission reports to sales representative principles
• Coordinate and issue monthly account-specific picture book mailings
• Distribute weekly/monthly title reports, best-seller lists, sales materials, and industry news to commission sales representatives
• Process and respond to all in-house author orders and inquiries
• Request and distribute summer and winter show promotions
• Actively research and pursue new business opportunities
• Enter seasonal estimates


• 4 year college degree
• Minimum of 2 years prior sales experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to work effectively on a team as well as independently
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
