Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Wells Fargo Commercial Capital (WFCC) combines Wholesale’s secured lending businesses including Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF), Corporate Trust Services (CTS), Wells Fargo Capital Finance (WFCF) and Wells Fargo Equipment Finance (WFEF). This position is within Corporate Trust Services (CTS), a division of Wells Fargo Commercial Capital.

Through its Maryland offices, Wells Fargo Bank is The Premier Provider of Corporate Trust Services to the Mortgage Backed Securities Market. We are currently seeking a highly motivated dynamic individual to fill a CTS Securities Analyst 4 Position within the Mortgage Product Solutions group. The successful candidate for this position will have the skills necessary to review deal documents, analyze data, and support the daily production on transactions in which we provide Calculation Agent, Paying Agent, Securities Intermediary, and other services on various products.

The primary responsibilities focus on the management of daily operations, review and training of junior analysts, and approval of production reports for the Finance Facility Team within Mortgage Product Solutions. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Administers and manages simple to mid-level accounts. Ensures the accurate establishment, administration and operation of the accounts. Ensures customers’ needs are heard, considered and responded to, yet balances those needs in light of our policies, procedures and guidelines. Responsible for the ensuring the effective delivery of all administrative and operational services, including assisting the supervisor with reviewing and approving the team’s work. Responsible for reading and interpreting basic loan agreements, master repurchase agreements, and other legal documents in order to identify administrative requirements and responsibilities. Responsible for training junior analysts and being the first point of escalation for any production related issues. Travel may be required.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial service, accounting, or analytical analysis; or 3+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial service, accounting, or analytical analysis with a BS/BA degree or higher
Desired Qualifications

  • Corporate trust experience
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents
  • Basic Microsoft Access skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of corporate trust: industry, products, and processes
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, with advanced skills in Excel
  • Customer service focus with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs, and recommend solutions
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Extensive math skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
