Senior Business Process Analyst - Telecommute

As a Business Analyst, you'll drive vital projects that have strategic importance to make that mission a reality. You'll use your sharp business skills to assist in creating, controlling and improving business processes.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
  • Serve as a key resource on complex and / or critical issues
  • Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Read, research, trend, forecast, benchmark, and understand data and it’s insights
  • Manage ongoing relationship with operational and product suite partners as point representative for operational metrics
  • Communicate and monitor key success metrics
  • Research available data to identify opportunities to improve operational excellence and work with process owners to mobilize actions and resources to address identified gaps
  • Create Benchmark reporting – standard and ad hoc needs
  • Develop, build, and maintain reporting of key metrics
  • Consult and document business requirements to support reporting needs
  • Understand basic relational data structures

Sure, you'll need to diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions. The difficulty is in knowing the right questions to ask. You will solve complex problems as you serve as a resource to others on your elite team. You'll be expected to find better, more efficient ways of doing things and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of writing SQL queries
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Visual Studio experience specifically using SSIS tools for ETL Solutions
  • 3+ years of experience in business / operations analysis, including ownership of gathering and documenting requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
  • Experience with reporting with Tableau, SSRS, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience using Big Data Systems, such as Hadoop, Hive
  • Experience within healthcare using large, complex data sets
  • Experience communicating analysis including trends and opportunities to business partners
  • Experience problem solving, including multiple priorities and researching conflicting and / or inaccurate data
  • Experience interacting effectively with partners at all levels of the organization
