As the Senior Health Care Economics Consultant, you will perform critical research and investigation of key business problems. Using phenomenal analytical skills, you will develop and improve quantitative data analytics and set performance targets for the enterprise. As a subject matter expert, you will interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation. You will be involved in identifying potential areas for RAF improvements and improved member condition capture. There are new challenges and bigger rewards around every turn. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Daily client interactions with leadership of various RAF programs
  • Financial & clinical analysis
  • Building analytics models
  • SQL - writing code and extracting data
  • Building linear financial analyses
  • Client presentations
  • Report outs/presentations on findings
  • Analysis review
  • Analysis prioritization
  • Research data opportunities, provide root causes, and to identify possible solutions
  • Strong communication to clients - concise, articulate, linear


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance/economics/mathematics or related field

  • 5+ years of Healthcare Analytics Experience or Financial experience in the Healthcare Industry

  • 5+ years of experience using SQL, intermediate to advanced level skills (able to write code and to extract data from various sources)

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Knowledge of Tableau

  • Comfortable presenting to various audiences and levels of leadership

  • Ability to understand complex data relationships and to distill the conclusions into a concise summary

  • Familiar with the healthcare industry

  • Self-motivated and comfortable with strategy development and execution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional experience with Tableau and/or other data visualization tools highly preferred

  • Experience analyzing healthcare claims data

  • Knowledge of the Risk Adjustment business (HCCs, RAF, Dx codes)

  • Strategic thinker to find solutions to discovered opportunities

  • Ability to develop new relationships and to gain trust

  • Communication and follow through skills

  • Persistent to find answers when initial results aren't conclusive

  • Eager to learn
