Primary Responsibilities:
 
Discovery and Customer Experience Management
  • Collaborate and consult with key business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to create training content and vet testing results based on communicated deadlines and class sizes
  • Communicate proactively to provide project status updates to supervisor, requester and other business leaders  
  • Conduct task analysis/research to identify the specific knowledge, skills, behaviors needed to achieve desired performance levels (e.g., focus groups, observation)  
  • Conduct audience analysis (e.g., target audiences, current skills, performance gaps, special needs, prior knowledge, attitudes)
Project Management
  • Create project plan and ensure each milestone is accounted for, overall project is delivered on schedule, and within scope  
  • Manage project within established scope, timeline, quality coding standards and resourcing needs  
  • Troubleshoot and appropriately escalate issues as they arise
Design and Development  
  • Work independently with stakeholders to design overall learning and communication approaches  
  • Deliver engaging training geared to large classes 50+ of remote employees
  • Design and develop self-paced learning, instructor-led and e-learning
  • Develop various methods to validate concepts trained have been mastered
Implementation Support and Measurement
  • Participate in internal continuous improvement efforts by organizing cross department reviews of trainings delivered, offering ideas and creative solutions to improve policies, processes and tools
  • Analyze reporting and testing results for trainees to ID ongoing and re-training needs  
  • Have a knowledge of the process or process changes to identify ongoing/enhanced training needs

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED  
  • Current Medical Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA  
  • 1+ year/s of experience in Instructional Design, Training, Modern Learning concepts and application for remote employees  
  • Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)  
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree  
  • SharePoint experience  
  • WebEx experience  
  • Project management skills  
  • Experience designing and developing training for adults in a corporate environment  
  • Healthcare experience  
  • Experience working within a matrix organization  
  • Project management skills  
  • Experience with Captivate, Articulate Studio, Camtasia, Storyline, and/or Photoshop and Gamification teaching technology.
