We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to assist in the continued development of our award - winning health analytics platform, which combines cutting - edge technology, data informatics services and cloud - based analytics tools.  In this exciting role, you will collaborate with some of the smartest developers in the industry, designing and implementing solutions to some of the toughest information challenges facing health care today. Your responsibilities will be feature - oriented, not confined to a single part of the stack, and will span data modeling, business logic, and UI implementation. 

 

We are looking for talented, innovative, effective developers who take pride in and ownership of their responsibilities, and who can confidently communicate and champion their ideas.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform all phases of software engineering including: requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing

  • Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders

  • Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries

  • Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions

  • Participate in an Agile / Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints

  • Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business

  • Review code and provide feedback to peers

  • Research and champion new technologies

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of experience developing middle-tier business objects (using high level programing languages like: Java, Groovy, Python, C, C++, or …)

  • 3+ years of experience writing SQL (using tools like Oracle, or ...)

  • 2+ years developing web applications (using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or ...)

  • 2+ years developing web applications (using JavaScript frameworks like React, JQuery, or...)

  • 2+ years healthcare development experience

  • Ability to translate business requirements into solutions

  • Ability to operate at a high level in small teams

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing web application using data visualization (using tools like D3, Google Charts, scikit, or ...)

  • Experience implementing enterprise design patterns

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks

  • Spring

  • Hadoop/Spark

  • Scala
