Senior Marketing Manager, Member Engagement - Minnetonka, MN

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop consumer strategies and lead initiatives that help members maximize their plan benefits and deliver against Net Promoter Score goals
  • Translate business goals into marketing objectives and strategies that facilitate business growth by leveraging insights from data and setting clear metrics for success
  • Lead high priority enterprise-wide initiatives, collaborating across the organization, setting clear direction and influencing senior management
  • Orchestrate multi-media marketing campaigns that include digital, social, mobile, print, direct mail, etc. across enterprise-wide teams and external agencies
  • Develop strategies for personalized, real-time campaigns leveraging predictive and behavior-based modeling analytics to identify, deploy, and test best performing marketing activities; optimize campaigns based on key performance indicators. Work closely with data and analytics teams and media partners to develop marketing test plans with clear business objectives and measurable results
  • Develop, manage and execute consumer insight-led campaigns that drive members to “Quick Care” alternatives for non-emergent care, reducing Emergency Department over-use (EDTI) and increasing usage of alternatives, such as Virtual Visits, Urgent Care and Nurseline
  • Route & track campaign materials through legal and key stakeholder approvals, including pharmacy and Advocate4Me
  • Collaborate to identify, select and onboard new agency partners for member engagement campaigns
  • Create campaign communication strategy that drives consistency across touch points and meets health literacy guidelines
  • Oversee and manage marketing budget to deliver against engagement goals

Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them.- Serves as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues.- Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions.- Performs complex conceptual analyses.- Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement.- Forecasts and plans resource requirements.- Authorizes deviations from standards.- May lead functional or segment teams or projects.- Provides explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.- Motivates and inspires other team members.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications
  • 8+ years of strategic marketing leadership
  • 8+ years of consumer or retail marketing experience
  • Proven success in the development of strategic marketing plans tied to business goals and execution of innovative integrated marketing campaigns
  • Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines within specified time constraints.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver results on complex initiatives
  • Proven success managing multiple agency and external vendor relationships
  • Strong, proven analytical skills
  • Experience in digital marketing to reach targeted segments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA in Marketing
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence across levels in an entrepreneurial and highly matrixed environment
  • Ability to develop and communicate a point of view, influence without authority, and balance multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that are concise, candid and professional
  • Ability to set clear direction and lead with confidence, conviction and presence
  • Leverage technology to deliver business goals and improved consumer experience
  • Proactive self-starter; with sense of urgency to achieve results
  • Quick study, flexible and able to handle a fast paced, ever changing work environment
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking with ability to challenge status quo with new ideas
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify and troubleshoot problems, recommend solutions and use good judgment to make decisions
