With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. The Technology Quality Function is reserved for those positions where Quality is the primary objective of the work delivered. Technology Quality roles will cover all primary quality activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver high quality products and services. These roles include, but are not limited to, strategy, planning, standards, process, policy, tools, engineering, assurance, management, metrics, research and development, automation, data preparation, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and assist in implementing improvements in test methods and strategies
  • Create test plans and test cases as they relate to testing User Stories to ensure the overall quality of software delivered
  • Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure solutions are free from defects
  • Create requirement/test case relationship using ALM/Quality Center (traceability)
  • Develop technical system use cases to support testing of data integration processes for master data management
  • Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Ensure alignment of quality / test plans to business request
  • Establish and maintain test cases and test data
  • Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance
  • Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating data quality
  • Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and/or functionality within Information Technology software
  • Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within information technology software
  • Recommend regression test efforts around project code changes
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternative approaches/technology and present them for review
  • Support existing applications and identify defects
  • Identify and implement QA standards and procedures
  • Be a key component/driver in the success of enterprise information management

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance / Testing experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with data, data analysis and SQL (Structured Query Language)
  • Experience with Quality Assurance testing tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Able to communicate issues in a clear and articulate fashion while showing creativity and innovation in presenting ideas
