Direct others in performance of warehouse tasks in a professional and fair manner.
Operate material handling equipment to effectively perform induction and loading tasks.
Communicate shipping issues promptly to the Manager; personally resolve identified issues, and problems as appropriate.
Support and participate in inventory management activities.
Maintain housekeeping standards during performance of all work; assist in housekeeping activities as needed.
Assist in training new hires, internal transfers and temp associates, develop and coach your team members, and helping them maximize their potential at work.
Prioritize, anticipate and adjust personnel and resources to maximize productivity. Minimize unplanned overtime.
Improve our operations and to keep our customers happy.
Adhere to all company policy/procedures and safety practices.
Participate in General Warehouse activities as needed.
Must have exceptional attendance, conduct, safety and performance record.
Must have prior experience in professional handling of work and employee related issues.
Must be able to communicate with home office personnel in regards to shipping procedures.
Must be able to work required schedules, including overtime; days and hours can fluctuate to meet the needs of the business.
Must be able to safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment, including TRT, reach truck and forklift after successful completion of certification training.
Must be able to operate a warehouse management computer software system. Basic knowledge of MS Office-Word/Excel.
Must be able to communicate clearly and speak, read and write English
