Software Developer in QA Test - Atlanta, GA

FADS (Fraud and Abuse Detection System) is a suite of complementary, web-based components that mine provider, member and claims data for potential fraud, waste and abuse; provide software research tools; and track subsequent investigation activity.  The FADS team is comprised of individuals with a variety of technical expertise from database, business intelligence reporting, and web based tools.  The FADS team is located in a North Atlanta suburb.     Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and implement automated tests
  • Write and execute ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development) using Selenium, Java and Cucumber
  • Manage test data and utilize test data management technology
  • Perform testing with JSON/XML API transactions
  • Deliver solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guardrails
  • Mentor and direct other SDET in automation principles
  • Debug software and perform reviews of automation and application code
  • Engineer solutions that collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools
  • Develop in-depth system and product knowledge
  • Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, dynamic data collection methodologies, coding standards, components and object repository methods, etc.)
  • Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience
  • Partner with product owners and developers to identify areas for improved efficiencies
  • Research and implement tools that support delivery
  • Assist with DevOps support

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience with the System Development Life Cycle
  • 2 + years of experience developing test automation or combination of development and test experience using Selenium Webdriver, JUnit, TestNG or similar tools
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development and continuous integration processes
  • 9 months Cloud/Container Experience (Azure, AWS, Docker, etc.)
  • 3+ years of professional experience using SQL to perform data validation.  Must be able to create, execute and analyze the results of SQL queries requiring multi-table joins
  • Experience with Acceptance Test Driven development
  • Working experience with technologies such as Java/Cucumber and scripting technologies such as Angular, AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery etc.
  • Proficient with developer tools, such as Eclipse and git/github for developing on the Java stack
  • Must be able to commute to office daily in north Atlanta suburbs (this is not a telecommuting position)

  • Experience with Fraud, Waste and Abuse
  • CA Agile (Rally)
