Software Engineer (Web Developer) responsible for designing and developing web-based software solutions for the organization.


Duties include: 

  • Design and develop web-based solutions with relevant programming languages and application frameworks
  • Work within an agile development process
  • Create new applications while maintaining existing systems
  • Troubleshoot production issues
  • Conduct and participate in design discussions and code reviews
  • Write and maintain unit tests
  • Conform to predefined coding guidelines
  • Manage source code and builds in source control system
  • Work with QC teams to adequately support testing efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and analyze system requirements
  • Create project presentations for non-technical audience
  • Create technical documentation for internal and external clients
  • Understand the use of industry tools and technology and how their implementation affects project goals
  • Solve complex analytical problems


Required Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, plus at least 2 years of software development experience in large-scale enterprise web applications.


Experience must include:

  • Design and development of enterprise-level applications and web services in C# .NET and related technologies
  • Debugging applications using Microsoft® Visual Studio
  • Application development using: ASP.NET, MVC, WebAPI, WCF, Entity Framework
  • Web application development using: XML, SOAP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks including jQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Node.js
  • Developing and using RESTful API’s
  • Source code and build management using Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Deploying, configuring and troubleshooting web applications on the IIS (Internet Information Services) platform
  • Database design and development using Microsoft® SQL Server, including stored procedures, views and triggers
  • Using Agile development frameworks
  • Knowledge of web application architecture and high-level understanding of network protocols
