Wells Fargo Enterprise Core Services Technology is seeking an Business Systems Consultant for IHUB application As a member of the Wholesale Core Services Technology Team you will play an important role in the crucial area of data strategy. The member will be working on design and development ETL applications for various data sourcing and subject area data mart projects. Translating business requirements, developing data transformation solutions with business partners, and working with technology and application partner groups to ensure production quality and rapid turnaround on all projects. This position will work with business tools and systems groups in wholesale to define information needs and translate them into specific data requirements in support of business initiatives and projects; determine the required capabilities, tools and data by leveraging/developing multiple internal or external information sources; manage and prioritize multiple complex projects; maintain necessary processes, controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity; also be responsible for adherence to data management regulations and policies

Responsibilities include

  • Works directly with development and other technology teams utilizing more senior BSC Playing a leadership role in the strategic evaluation and decisions surrounding building or buying systems
  • Capture requirements for small initiatives that development can work with
  • Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes
  • Participates in building strategic enterprise architecture and design principles into specific system requirements and specifications
  • Interacting regularly with business and technology professionals to understand pro-actively the technology needs of the firm
  • Manages time between support, tasks on large projects, and may lead small projects
  • Provide timely estimates for small project and support tasks.
  • Driving for results, conveying a sense of urgency and bringing issues to closure despite obstacles and opposition.

Additional responsibilities include

  • Coordinating with offshore development teams
Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 7 + years of experience identifying, documenting, escalating and resolving issues
  • 7 + years of experience leading multiple workstreams, applications, or deliverables
  • 5 + years of experience gathering business requirements from various sources including end-users and stakeholders
  • 4+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners
Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 1+ year of commercial banking experience
  • 1+ year of JIRA experience
  • Hadoop experience
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations
  • Experience developing partnerships and collaborating with other business and functional areas
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • 3+ years of business intelligence experience
  • Ability to identify and manage complex issues and negotiate solutions within a geographically dispersed organization
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of DBMS experience involving DBMS like Teradata, Oracle, SQL server or DB2.
  • Works directly with development and other technology teams utilizing more senior BSC Playing a leadership role in the strategic evaluation and decisions surrounding building or buying systems
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Ability to provide leadership by coaching, training, and mentoring
  • Ability to manage process discovery, process modeling, and process improvement activities
