Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drives the implementation of the end to end control plan through improved processes and solutions as needed.  This can include scheduling meetings, documentation and training
  • Responsible for troubleshooting issues / defects, ability to analyze data and to present analysis in a format that is relatable to interested parties
  • Responsible for determining best solution of concepts into processes
  • Articulate business needs to document current state processes and support the documentation and implementation of new operational processes 
  • Responsible for understanding how claims are paid and various aspects of claims processing
  • Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning    
  • Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate           
  • Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
This is a complex, fast-paced, matrixed environment with a lot of moving parts. The challenge is in developing, enhancing and maintaining operational information and models. You'll be expected to interpret and analyze large amounts of data from multiple sources and use it to tell a meaningful story.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in end to end process control planning and project management
  • 2+ years of experience with process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and / or evaluation of business processes
  • 2+ years of experience working  in a healthcare environment along with a further understanding around how healthcare claims are processed and paid
  • 2+ years of data analysis within a healthcare operations setting
  • Experience with working within a Six Sigma team or Lean Environment
  • Proficient in analysis and development of business processes and workflows
  • Understanding of the objective for each key program initiative; ability to take concept and put it into practice
  • Advanced level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate Degree
  • Excellent time / project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment; build relationships across large enterprise at every level with the ability to influence decisions from top down and bottom up
  • Demonstrates the expertise to problem solve/research issues independently to completion; if guidance is needed, outlines the issues, research completed and provide recommendations
