Responsible for the design, development, management or sun - setting of new, existing or acquisition products from an operational support perspective. Reviews product performance against expectations and facilitates or influences changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance. May work with internal or external business constituents to determine product future direction or respond to product inquiries. May be project - based and involve working within multiple product functions.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages and is accountable for professional employees and / or supervisors
  • Impact of work is most often at the local level
  • Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to members of own team
  • May oversee work activities of other supervisors
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Influences or provides input to forecasting and planning activities
  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple groups of employees and / or customers (internal or external)
  • Position will oversee legacy client migrations, client onboarding, new product installations on the clinical product platform, and maintenance / monitoring of the full clinical product portfolio
  • Ensures quality and documentation of all requirements in the client intake process: Client contracted elections, Source of Truth documents (Implementation forms, Definition grid), Client carrier List / Account Group List accuracy
  • Responsible for day - to - day operations of team supporting client fulfillment output accuracy and related monitoring for metrics reporting, including quality control procedures
  • Work directly with Product, Business and Operations Leadership to design, develop and drive successful deployment of  new and enhanced programs and services
  • Manage cross - segment projects and initiatives that require problem solving, relationship building, influencing and analyzing
  • Influence innovation across teams to ensure alignment; cohesive progress across technology, marketing, and service operations
  • Navigate and influence multiple cross - functional teams in a complex, matrix work environment
  • Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Manage operations process development and maintenance, including documentation

 

 


Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Project Management / Product Development experience
  • Strong persuasion skills and demonstrated evidence of innovative thinking and program operations development to make the health care system work better
  • 3+ years health care experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing change initiatives
  • Strong skills presenting complex data and outcomes to executive teams
  • Strong process improvement skills / experience
  • Ability to organize and thrive in a fast - paced environment and work with ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enable relationship building
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and monitor results of outcome measures and assist in creating solutions
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervisory oversight
  • 5+ years of experience leading, managing, coaching direct reports to consistently meet or exceed expectations
