The Sr. Quality Review RN is responsible for analyzing data integrity and consistency of documentation and assessment processes.  This position will work with clinical staff to clarify documentation and data integrity issues along with create process improvement plans. We are seeking a qualified nurse with excellent communication skills that has the ability to work in detail oriented environment with high attention to detail.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Works with Clinical Leadership to address trends that affect the outcome and process measures
  • Participates in Quality Improvement and compliance activities as assigned
  • Assists with other chart audit activities as assigned
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications
  • Participates on / leads committees, policy and procedure development, facility audits, special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned
  • Must be able to review root cause of problems, issues, develop plans in collaboration with others, and implement plans for process improvement
  • Possesses knowledge of research techniques, data analysis and reporting, forward / strategic planning and integration of technologies within staff development initiatives

Required Qualifications:
  • Current and unrestricted NV RN license; or temporary NV RN license with the ability to obtain permanent NV RN license upon expiration of temporary NV RN license
  • 3+ years of clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in health-related field or education or currently enrolled in graduate program
  • Experience in quality improvement
  • Demonstrated skills in performance improvement process, program development and project management
  • Demonstrated skills in computer technology and database development and management
