Support fast paced retail environment managing all aspects of new store openings, remodels, and store relocations. This includes managing timelines and phasing plans with cross functional department teams across the company.
Effectively lead a group of managers and associates who serve as the point people for new store openings and relocations which includes payroll, T&E, and other expenses. Successfully resolving store issues during the opening process including Construction, Purchasing, Fixture Set-Up, Buying Office, Visual, IT, and Logistics.
Serve as the corporate point person for the new store opening/remodel/relocation process – develop plans to improve operational efficiencies while maintaining the highest levels of customer service. Responsible for the coordination of all IT, Construction, Buying, Visual Merchandising, Store Set Up, Purchasing, Fixture Development, Graphics and Logistics interaction with the stores. Track daily process, identify and resolve issues throughout the process, including but not limited to, adjusting critical paths to overcome issues and still maintain scheduled completion dates
Coordinate cross functional meetings with corporate partners to identify areas of opportunity and provide actionable resolution. Continue to look for opportunities to improve the processes – including payroll and expense savings.
Ensure roles and responsibilities for all field personnel involved with the projects are clearly defined. Monitor projects on a consistent basis including daily communication reporting, payroll reporting, inventory and mark down tracking, etc. Conform that all project goals are clearly defined and expectations are delivered.
Position will require travel to the stores. Store visits should identify areas of opportunity and evaluation of new programs being implemented.
