The Strategic Digital Product Manager will work with various strategic stakeholders within UHC and Optum (Marketing, Product, and Wellness Teams.) to develop strategic digital roadmaps to align and meet the digital requirements of each stakeholder. 
The focus of the Strategic Digital Product Manager will be to build relationships, understand and articulate stakeholder needs, define roadmap value and communicate priorities with the assigned stakeholders in order to plan for efficient integration of relevant capabilities into the common UHC Digital Member experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Scope will include a collection of Marketing, Product and Wellness programs aligned to and supported by digital web and mobile sites for UHC members
  • Build relationship with key stakeholders representing each assigned vertical
  • Keep stakeholders informed of all new digital capabilities that are available and work with UHCD Product to build a plan to deliver for the verticals in the future
  • Work with stakeholders, UHC Digital Product and the LOBs on rollout planning, communications and messaging
  • Work with stakeholders to build a process to identify new product features that will impact digital with the goal of having UHC Digital Product capturing requirements
  • Represent stakeholder needs back to the UHC Digital Organization for prioritization, annual planning and strategic direction of products
  • Communicate UHCD prospective to stakeholders; provider direction to project teams and resources that align with UHCD and stakeholder agendas to reinforce on time delivery of strategic programs
  • Lead and assist in the removal of hurdles that develop which could negatively impact productivity, project timelines or the customer experience in the UHC Digital Member experience

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the digital space (2-5+ years)
  • Demonstrated portfolio of user-centric experiences with proven, positive impacts to engagement and KPIs (5+ years)
  • Experience working with stakeholders/clients/senior leaders (managing expectations, managing delivery dates)
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, project managers, marketers and engineering
  • Strong ability to absorb and make sense of large amounts of data to direct decision making
  • Ability to turn complicated inputs into a clear, communicable vision
  • Results-oriented individual with strong influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Knowledge of current digital web and application standards

  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Aligning with Technology Operations or Capabilities
  • Reporting and Analytics proficiency
  • Product Management experience
  • Marketing concepts
